Q Wood is a leading Qatari company specializing in the import and distribution of high-quality wood products. With a strong commitment to supporting Qatar’s industrial development, the company is currently establishing a national factory to produce selected wood products locally, contributing to the country’s industrialization strategy and supporting greater self-sufficiency.
In addition to its core business, Q Wood provides value-added services, including furniture maintenance and refurbishment for public and private schools, kindergartens, universities, training centers, and community facilities. Q Wood is built on a foundation of strong leadership, managerial expertise, technical proficiency, and operational efficiency. Sheikh Abdullah Hassan Abdulrahman Al Thani
A prominent Qatari businessman and strategic partner in the project, he brings extensive experience in investment and business management. His vision and expertise have played a key role in supporting the establishment and development of Q Wood.
General Manager
Eng. Hussein Tony Arafat
A certified Electrical Engineer and Lean Manufacturing Program (LMP) specialist, he brings over 23 years of industrial experience and 10 years of expertise in engineering consultancy. He is registered with the Qatar Engineers Committee under Registration No. 12588 – Category One.
In 1998, he was awarded second place in Egypt’s National Innovation Competition. Since 2018, he has also been a member of the Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC), contributing his extensive technical and industrial expertise to the development of innovative business initiatives.
